3 Step Holiday Peppermint Chocolate Bark

This year I decided I was tired of buying my loved ones gift cards to random places. I wanted a personal touch to make them feel special. I ended up with cashew, almond and pecan nut brittle as well as a small box of this dark chocolate peppermint bark. It’s beyond simple to make, and looks very nice on a holiday table, or in a small gift box like I gifted to my family. Hope you enjoy ~

Ingredients :

  • 12 oz. non-dairy chocolate chips, or broken chocolate bar
  • 12 broken candy canes, or peppermint rounds

To Make :

Melt chocolate, add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of crushed peppermint candy, and mix well.

Spread mixture onto cookie sheet lined with waxed paper, Sprinkle a small amount of peppermint candy on top, for a more appealing look if you wish, and let cool in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Snap pieces to your liking and serve as a Holiday treat!

Once the mixture has set in the refrigerator it can set at room temperature for a few hours without melting.
