BetterOats Chai Spiced Oatmeal

It takes a lot for me to eat oatmeal regularly, I will sadly and shamefully admit. I know that it is wonderful for you and all, I am just all about texture, and the texture… come on.. we all know it’s sort of unpleasant if you eat it day after day. However, I recently found a tolerable oatmeal brand that I love.

I have tried making it at home, which I like sometimes, and I have tried multiple brands. This one, I was impressed by. I really, really am in love with the chai spiced, and they have a ton of flavors. BUT,  be sure to check. Not all of them are vegan friendly. I usually eat it with a handful of granola, and sometimes some candied almond pecan clusters that I make by tossing some pecans and almonds around in a non stick pan with some brown sugar until they got hot and stick together. Let them cool on a cookie sheet and store them in an airtight container. You can use them for desserts, salads and things like oatmeal and pie.

I love the chai spice as well! Sadly I can longer find it in a couple grocery stores I’ve checked. Do you know if I can order online or where you picked up yours? Thank you, and love the candied almonds recipe =)

Hi Erica 🙂 sorry for the late reply. We moved recently and I have not been able to find chai spice anywhere around here and I was told it’s not really being sold in stores very much anymore. However, it IS on amazon for a little cheaper than I was buying it at in stores. If you have amazon prime you can get 20 pouches for $17. Lately I have been eating their brown sugar and maple flavor. It’s also really tasty with the candied almonds and granola, and can easily taste very similar to the chai spiced with a little spice sprinkled on top. I love it with ground clove and all spice. Hope this helps! ~ happy eating
