It takes a lot for me to eat oatmeal regularly, I will sadly and shamefully admit. I know that it is wonderful for you and all, I am just all about texture, and the texture… come on.. we all know it’s sort of unpleasant if you eat it day after day. However, I recently found a tolerable oatmeal brand that I love.
I have tried making it at home, which I like sometimes, and I have tried multiple brands. This one, I was impressed by. I really, really am in love with the chai spiced, and they have a ton of flavors. BUT, be sure to check. Not all of them are vegan friendly. I usually eat it with a handful of granola, and sometimes some candied almond pecan clusters that I make by tossing some pecans and almonds around in a non stick pan with some brown sugar until they got hot and stick together. Let them cool on a cookie sheet and store them in an airtight container. You can use them for desserts, salads and things like oatmeal and pie.
